Little, Big & Mighty Ducks cook up concoctions, including healthy meals and tasty treats, that are sure to be irresistible to any child's taste buds! 2-5 yrs.
Little Duck Dance
For 2-3 year olds, the cutest class ever is a "must" for little ones who love music and dance!Little ducks will explore movement through music, fun and games. Various forms of dance will be introduced. Ballet outfit not required. 2-3 yrs.
Little/Sibling Duck Music
Old McDonald had a farm, and on his farm he had a DUCK!!! Get ready to sing, dance and groove! This class allows your little one to march in a band using instruments and dance to the tunes while learning new songs and singing old ones. The kids are sure to enjoy our parachute and bubbles during these activities. 4 months-3 yrs.
Drama Ducks
Dramatic ducks will explore their creativity and build self-confidence through stories, songs, games, and movement. A trunk full of costumes and props will be used to act out a new story each week! Parents, caregivers and friends are invited to walk down the red carpet to our final class for a special "Hollywood Ducks" presentation! 3-5 yrs.
Silly Goose Fitness
Duck, duck, goose. Designed to get kids 3-5 years moving! Focus is on motor skills, games, and songs while using different equipment to help with coordination and balance. Kids will also play simple ball games. (Sign up for the entire summer (8 wks) to be eligible for a tax receipt.) 2.5-5 yrs.
NEW: Reading Readiness Program
This program is designed for young learners between the ages of 4 and 6. The program begins with an assessment of the child’s phonic skills. This assessment enables us to target areas in the vocabulary that can use extra support. The program has four main areas of focus which include phonics skills, vocabulary, comprehension and the use of sight vocabulary. Students learn through the use of workbooks, educational games and other hands on activities. The purpose of this program is to improve children’s reading skills and to boost their confidence as they progress. Establishing basic running, jumping, throwing, catching and striking skills required for all sport and recreation activities. Movement skills, manipulative skills, sport specific skills, action songs, rhythm skills, athletic activities and an introduction to the major sports presented in a positive supportive environment where play, confidence, fun and learning are emphasized. 3-5 yrs.
Fairy Princess Tea Party
Wear your wings and fairy dress! This playful class is full of imagination and creativity. Your little fairy princess will learn to bake tea-time treats and practice her lady-like manners at a fancy tea party at each class. We will create wands and crowns and fulfill all her fairy princess dreams! 3-5 yrs.
Under Sea Adventures
Calling all Jr. Jack Cousteau’s - put on your flippers and splash into art head first!
Your kids will make the ocean come alive through collage, paint, sculpt and drawing. Learn what lurks in the deep sea and create a mobile of oceanic proportions as well as a cardboard classroom aquarium. 3-5 yrs. Languages- French and Mandarin will be offered for Little, Big,and Mighty Ducks in the late afternoons. 3-6 yrs.
